2008 Southern Nevada Continuum of Care Supplemental Application Instructions
Each year the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) releases a super Notice of Funding Availability (SuperNOFA) that includes all of the funding available through a competitive process. The HUD Continuum of Care Homeless Funds are included in this SuperNOFA process. HUD has not released their 2008 SuperNOFA, however, the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition's Committee on Homelessness' Continuum of Care Evaluation Working Group is releasing a supplemental application as part of the Southern Nevada local process. Information from this supplemental application will be used to determine inclusion in the Consolidated application to HUD for the Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance funds.
The Supplemental Application is mandatory for anyone who wishes to participate in this years' Southern Nevada Consolidated application.
Please be advised that successful applicants will be required to utilize the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) as mandated by HUD and as a part of the Southern Nevada Regional Plan to End Homelessness. Applicants must also attend technical training offered in conjunction with this process. The meeting dates, times and locations will be sent to you as soon as they are secured.

An agency needs to attend if they did not attend the previous technical assistance on January 22nd.
In addition to the local trainings, HUD will be offering national webcasts for your assistance.
3. Supplemental applications are due on April 11, 2008 by 3pm.
